Africa, as we know, is an immense continent located close to Europe, and which has truly incredible cultural diversity closely linked to Brazilian culture. African men believe that they must respect nature and their fellow humans so as not to be punished by great spirits and suffer from droughts and lack of food. This has been happening for hundreds of centuries, and is a true tradition among Africans.
African rites and influence on Brazilian culture
African rites are performed in designated locations that include community prayers, dances and songs.
The influence of Africans is evident in the formation of the Brazilian people, customs such as: capoeira, which was created shortly after the arrival of black slaves in Brazil.
Candomblé is another heritage of African peoples to Brazil, also brought by slaves from Africa. Obviously we couldn't fail to mention the African cuisine that is part of the most traditional dishes in Brazil today.
