Christian Philosophy

Christian Philosophy

Christian philosophy is an ideology disseminated by Jesus Christ. Unlike the dogmatic application of the Church or Theology, Christian philosophy is based on reason to explain God.

Christian Philosophy – Faith

Faith is one of the main instruments of philosophers to understand human and earthly functioning. In Christian philosophy, the strength of faith drives human action, which sets goals and objectives that can only be achieved with belief in the superior teachings of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the philosophical treatment given to Jesus Christ by this study is merely rational.

There are some Christian philosophical theories that are contradictory to each other, but they enhance the discussion. In the phrase I believe in order to understand, there is evidently the dominion of faith over reason, but these two concepts achieve conciliation or do not generate conflicts.

Now saying I just believe, faith and reason appear as distinct concepts, which do not promote harmonious coexistence, thus faith being superior to reason. It is demonstrated in these sentences that the authors who studied Christian philosophy differed on the vision of Jesus' teachings.

But the Christian faith makes Jesus God's representative on earth, and his word is something not to be mistrusted. Therefore, theology predominated in Christian study, stifling knowledge and philosophical dissemination of the presence of Jesus and his wisdom in rational studies.
