Boa Noite Cinderela, is a drug generally found in the form of drops or tablets, associated with the scam considered frequent at parties, nightclubs, bars and beaches.
Also known as “rape drugs”, the name given to the scam in which a good-looking and friendly individual puts a cocktail of drugs in the drink of another person who is unaware of the act. Thus, the victim may suffer sexual violence, robbery and/or assault.
These drugs are central nervous system depressants, which when administered with alcoholic beverages, alter the level of consciousness for up to three days, leaving the victim vulnerable. They can also cause poisoning or death from dehydration.
They dissolve easily, are colorless and odorless, so identifying a glass of drink that has received such drugs is very difficult.
What are the effects that Boa Noite Cinderela causes?
The effects are the same as alcohol initially. Subsequently, the individual feels drowsy and has difficulty reacting physically and/or psychologically, even if threatened, thus obeying all requests made by the scammer.
Few people file complaints at police stations, due to the lack of clarity about what happened and also because they feel embarrassed by the fact. For this reason, statistics become underestimated and police action is
limited.
The police and experts in this type of crime advise people to be careful, such as not taking strangers home and not accepting and/or neglecting their drinks.
