History of the Perfume Launcher
The Perfume Launcher is called “the drug of carnivals”. In Brazil, use began in the 20th decade, during the Rio de Janeiro carnival, providing pleasant sensations when released on revelers. However, President Jânio Quadros decreed its ban in our country. However, its use continued, in an accessible way, as it is smuggled from Paraguay and Argentina, where its manufacture is not prohibited.
How is the Perfume Launcher made?
Made in Argentina, it is a solvent based on ethyl chloride, ether, chloroform and perfumed essence, stored in high pressure tubes, allowing it to be easily evaporated and inhaled.

What are the effects of this Drug?
The substance is absorbed by the lung mucosa, with its components taken via the bloodstream to the kidneys, liver and nervous system. Its effects are the release of adrenaline in the body, acceleration of the heart rate, providing a feeling of euphoria and disinhibition while causing auditory and visual disturbances, loss of self-control and blurred vision.
Because the effects are quick, users tend to inhale it several times. In this way, it can trigger shortness of breath, fainting, hallucinations, convulsions, cardiac arrest and death. It can also alter the individual's consciousness, allowing vulnerability to accidents.
