Hodgkin's lymphoma is a blood cancer. When discovered early and properly treated, there is a chance of a cure.
Symptoms
The main symptoms are: swollen tongue in the neck, collarbone region, armpit or groin, without pain or apparent cause; there may be fever; there may be night sweats; there may be weight loss; there may be intense itching all over the body.
Although soreness is usually painless, it can become painful after drinking alcohol.
It is common for this disease to be discovered when performing an x-ray or tomography requested for another reason.
Treatment
Treatment is carried out through the use of medications (chemotherapy), radiotherapy or monoclonal antibody therapy.
