How did ideology come about?


Marxist ideology served to foment the Cold War, combat between people who practiced capitalism against communism.
The originator of the term ideology was Antoine Destutt de Tracy. Fascism, an activity practiced in Italy, with a military and expansionist style, still serves as an example of ideology.
Democracy, another type of belief in political action, appeared in Greece, in Athens, and believed in equal participation in the spheres of state power. Anarchism, on the other hand, defends the elimination of the State and personal freedom.
Boasting, the ideology of exaggerated nationalism, makes people believe that one country is absolutely better than everyone else.
Nowadays, there is an ideological dispute in religion, when churches from different segments compete for the faithful. Thus it is evident that ideology is very important in society and has moved the beliefs of many people.
