Professions related to Law, salary and course duration
Advocacy is one of the many paths that a law graduate faces, and to practice it you must pass the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) exam. Another path is the Judiciary, which you only enter after passing competitive public examinations, making it possible to become a judge, judge or minister in higher courts.
Other options include Public Advocacy, or working with the Public Prosecutor's Office as a prosecutor or solicitor, or being a Police Chief. There is an increase in demand for professionals specialized in international issues, due to the progressive fall in trade barriers between countries and the globalization of the economy – in this market, experience in the United States or Europe is worth “gold”.
