Who was Zeno
Zeno was born in Eleia, Italy. His guide and teacher was Parmenides. From then on he developed dialectics.

Zeno's discussion was formed by paradoxes. He focused his philosophy on highlighting the lies and lack of coherence in theses that, for him, made no sense.
There is no exact data about his life, studies, date of birth and death. According to historians, he was involved in a political plot to remove a state sovereign from office. The plan did not work and Zeno was arrested, tortured and killed.
Stories about Zeno
According to popular stories, Zeno, during torture sessions to hand over his accomplices, extracted his own tongue with his teeth and proved that he would never inform on anyone.
Aristotle defined Zeno and his theories as the “headache principle”. He tried to prove the non-existence of movements, however, with the lack of movement speed, time and space are lost.
